ORLANDO, FL (AAO Winter Conference) – Jan 31, 2022 – WildSmiles, provider of designer braces, today announced a partnership with Smiles Change Lives, an international nonprofit that helps families get orthodontic treatment for their children who could not otherwise afford treatment. As part of the partnership, WildSmiles will be giving recipients of the program free designer brackets. To help further the mission, WildSmiles will also be donating 5% of its total revenue from providers affiliated with the organization.
“We’ve seen how much Smiles Change Lives has done over the years to help deserving children in need receive the orthodontic treatment they normally wouldn’t be able to get,” said Davin Bickford, COO of WildSmiles. “We are delighted to provide these patients with a fun orthodontic experience and to see them Smile with Style after they’ve picked their WildSmiles brackets.” WildSmiles takes traditional orthodontic treatment and provides an outlet for personal expression through three different designer bracket collections. The full Disney Collection includes Mickey Mouse shaped brackets and colored elastics featuring other popular Disney characters, such as Dory from “Finding Nemo” and Olaf from “Frozen.” WildSmiles’ original Signature Collection comes in six classic shape brackets, including hearts and stars, and the College Collection offers 19 college mascots, including the Auburn Tigers and Kansas State Wildcats.
“I have seen firsthand the incredible impact of providing orthodontic treatment to those who could not otherwise afford it,” said Alexis Barclay, Smiles Change Lives, Director, Provider Services. “WildSmiles is a great partner to join forces with because they are aligned with our mission to make oral healthcare more accessible to the underprivileged, and they add to the fun of the experience for the kids.”
